We fell under the absolute charm of the Pandolfi Price family! Their vineyard, on the 37th parallel south, has not finished making talk about itself.
It is in the south of Chile, 1 hour from Chillán, that we discovered the vineyard of Pandolfi Price, on the banks of the Larqui river, on very old soils of volcanic clay.
A family estate lost in the nature. In 2002, the Pandolfi Price bought the farm of their dreams, without knowing anything about wine. And discovered 25 ha of vine. They decided to take up the challenge: to become winemakers.
50 hectares around the property, including 25 hectares planted in 1992 in Chardonnay and 25 hectares planted in 2005 in Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir (clones of Pommard, Vosne-Romanesque and Gevrey-Chambertin).
Enzo senior and Enzo junior work hand in hand. From scratch, they decided from the beginning to drive the entire field in organic. Result, artisanal wines, precise and with a lot of freshness, elaborated on a human scale. Bravo!
