Sept Winery

Wine Explorers' opinion

Self-taught, Maher Harb fights to bring new energy into Lebanese viticulture. He is certainly the future of wine in Lebanon.

The terroir

A Mediterranean climate with sunny days, deep rock soils and a biodynamic vineyard management: all the ingredients to succeed.

The estate

Sept is the name of the estate of our friend Maher Harb, a young self-taught winemaker on the Lebanese scene and already oh so talented. A vineyard created in 2011 and already full of promises.

The vineyard

One hectare of vines at the moment, that Maher planted in the village of Nehla, in northern Lebanon, to reconnect with his roots. The vineyard is mainly planted in Grenache, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon.

The wines

Fresh and precise white wines, from the autochthonous grape varieties Merwah and Obeidi. Reds with finesse, a lot of elegance and depth, like the cuvée 100% Syrah, which is an incredible wine. Big fan!
